I work as a Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at São Paulo State University (UNESP), located in Ilha Solteira, Brazil. I am also a Research Fellow with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq/Brazil).
I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UNESP – Ilha Solteira, where I was a FAPESP Graduate Research Fellow. In 2008, I completed my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), including a sandwich doctoral fellowship at the Université de Franche-Comté (Besançon, France) in 2007.
Throughout my academic career, I have had the opportunity to conduct research abroad, including a Visiting Researcher position at Arts et Métiers – ENSAM in Paris, France, from 2019 to 2020, supported by a fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
I currently serve as a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering.
